Additionally the murder cases that McNulty really obsessed over where generally cases where the dealers killed civilians.

He doesn't really make a big deal about criminal vs criminal violence and has no problem with Omar's approach

But u forget. In season 2 when McNultys intention to map those bodies on Rawls jurisdiction, he did that for revenge not cuz he was really looking for justice.

Even the crew knew McNulty did it for revenge, so u talking like he was all about justice for civilians goes out the window.

He needed to do that in order to do police work because the BPD was frozen because of politics stop it breh

:stopitslime:

If that was a real story posted on the coli u wouldn't defend it. You'd say cacs are sick and demented.

U quoted me asking a question but u never answered. So I'll repeat it. When is doing something sick and illegal like biting corpses real police work?

Well but that entire sequence has nothing to do with him being obsessed with putting black men in jail seeing as everyone involved is a cracker.

I feel he's portrayed as more being obsessive and competitive, and loving the challenge.

I don't think he's a saint, all cops are b*stard, I just don't agree that his motivations within the shows universe are racialized.

Actually it is relative. McNulty hated Rawls for stopping his obsession to take down Black men trying to attain power by any means. Thats why McNulty put those bodies on Rawls jurisdiction.

Notice how season 3 starts right back on his obsession with continuing to take down Avon's crew. He was addicted to it.

U made this excuse that he's "competitive." But u don't bite corpses and risk going to prison doing so if u just trying to be police. No. McNulty had a deeper "obsession" and it was taking down Black men trying to attain power. Avon was his first addiction but he hit rock bottom biting copses when Marlo became his next addiction.

It’s simple. The city froze out BPD. He created the serial killer in order to get funding to take out Marlo. Marlo was pumping heroin on both sides of the city and had 25 bodies in vacants and had killed civilians and informants. Like c’mon my nikka :dahell:

You are over analyzing and racializing shyt I don’t think David Simon wrote McNulty to be what you are painting him as.

:snoop:

So your going to ignore the fact they took down those CACs in season 2?

The only reason why he got obsessed with Marlo is because Marlo killed Bodie since he was seen with McNulty. McNulty respected Bodie and felt responsible for his death. Hence his "obsession" for revenge.

Before that happened, he was just a regular street cop doing regular patrols as a roller.

Did you even pay attention to the show?

I thought it was common knowledge that McNulty was fed up with the police department doing whatever it takes to keep the stats up and murder rates down so these upper level cops can sit back, relax and not do their jobs.

McNulty brought in a real case and wanted to work it the real way like a real police.

:yeshrug:

He was real po-leeece.

How long did it take you to realize that Brother Mouzone is not Mr. Omar from Everybody Hates Chris?

It took me years

I remembered Mr. Omar because he was one of the young brehs in the Malcolm X movie that rode with Malcolm over the NOI. They asked him to kill brother Malcolm (cutting his brake lines or something like that)....but he was like "I couldn't do that man."

Never saw What's Happening reruns growing up...not sure why.

You just made up a lie and tried to pass it as truth. Mcnulty was already attempting to go at Marlo, thats what him and Bodie discussed before he was killed.

Wow.

You avoided answering the question twice. You literally did this....

did all that Juelzing and never answered the question. You quoted me asking a question and all u have done in response is give passes to a whiteman biting dead corpses.
