Lucha Libre USA tried..(.I actually went to one of their tapings
,) and they had a show on MTV 2 and MTV Tres and an action figure line and was cancelled less than a yearI just dont see right now..as wwe already broadcasts on telemundo and Mundo 2 in spanish which is the most popular spanish channel in the states
I dont think that being on EL Rey, a new channel thats exclusive to Comcast ,only available to expanded spanish package subscribers, is going to help them make the cross over,AAA tried with wcw in 96, and they tried 2 years ago when konami released a video game and got no traction
if he wants to make an expansion, the key to him would be online streaming, if he got a deal with netflix or amazon prime that could be a game changer

I've tried to get into it before and I just can't. There's a lot of good athleticism if that's your thing, but the characters all seem to be basically the same dude. No one really stands out, at least not immediately. Interchangeable masked dudes.
