Releasing Hernandez was the right move for the team, and they showed that winning is not more important than character or image. The team likely knows this situation more than anyone other than police, but anything could still happen. Hernandez could be a free man in September, but New England isn’t taking the chance of having that person on its team.

Nah, no sympathy here.

If it comes out that he had something to do with the murder, fukk his money.

Now if his dumb ass was convicted of something and the Pats were forced to cut him because he had to go jail then I could understand their position to go after that bonus money but they cut him not knowing anything unless they admit they had inside knowledge of his case. Either way they jumped the gun in my opinion to go after his money like this.
