He does deserve some criticism, but overall nah.

Packers have let that dude down with the surrounding cast and esp coaching. :scust:

Ask yourself this, you see anyone coming after Tom? He did not have a good game yesterday but is damn near completely in the clear. And that's because he legit has a good TEAM around him on all sides. He makes mistakes but he doesn't have to be flawless for them to win. Even the last SB Tom won vs the Rams. Didn't play great.

I can't say the same for Aaron and that does make a difference.

He needs to come home to the 49ers

Help me understand something.

Aaron Rodgers is legitimately one of the most talented quarterbacks EVER!!!

But after yesterday’s lost EVERYONE either wants him to leave, are blaming the coach, or the organization for their lost yesterday.

I just don’t think the offense or defense played with enough heart to pull it off. The Bucs defense played lights out to me.

When Aaron wins everyone was screaming how he’s the real GOAT, the packers won’t be beat, etc. but now it’s oh Aaron should’ve had “Justin Jefferson” or “Patrick Queen”

That’s stupid. Dude is 1-4 in NFC Championships and his ranked 90th in comeback wins. The team has been good enough to get him to the NFC championship 5 times!!!!

his fans are starting to look like lebrons. They’re amazing win they win but need more help when they lose

Kinda like folks were blaming the coach that Brady chose to play for, for his struggles during the season and now he got them to the SB all by himself? People have no problem doing this very thing for certain cats and then turn around and rail against it when it's someone they don't like. ARod wasn't perfect but what QB would have done better in that spot? Mahomes maybe? Much like Bron, the expectation for him is perfection and beyond what we actually saw from the folks people want to put over them. Everybody can't count on someone else to step up or luck or refs every game. It's not excuse but it is perfectly reasonable to look back at them drafting a QB in the first round (after being the Chip game last year) over a more immediate impact player and wondering what could have been. Aaron is not above reproach or criticism for yesterday by any means though.

tom brady wins playoff games throwing 3 INTs (has done this 3 times), Aaron Rogers LOSES playoff games throwing 4 tds. If that doesn't tell you football is the ultimate TEAM sport i don't know what to tell you

32 points isn’t unreasonable.

GB averaged 31.8ppg in the regular season. Tampa Bay gave up 23 points to Heinicki. Green Bay defense forced 3 turnovers and they were at home.

Too many red zone misses. And the coach choked
It happens. They scored 26. I'm almost certain that's within 1 standard deviation from the amount of points they'd normally score if they averaged 31.8. They lost. It happens.

What about Rodgers literally acting bytch made in the post game interview about it not being his call but we’ve seen Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady argue and make the call to stay on the field.
Alright.
So what am I supposed to take away from this?

Aaron Rodgers didn't clamor hard enough to go for it on 4th down in your opinion. So he's a bum and deserves everyone's scorn?
I feel like you guys are just looking to be angry about a game.

Well, the Packers gave up 31 points.

Which one of you morons thinks it's reasonable to expect any quarterback to have to put up 32 points to win a game? Rodgers isn't without criticism but why do some of you always forget that it's a team game?

Patrick has put up 30+ in last 9 PO games

Lmao okay. Which part does he deserve criticism for?

his fans are starting to look like lebrons. They’re amazing win they win but need more help when they lose

I was with you until this part lol. Rodgers Stans have always been worse, as people starting calling him the GOAT in Y4 and using all these sneaky descriptors to put him over everyone else ("best thrower of the football"). Also Rodgers is far, far, FAR less accomplished in pressure moments, big spots, back against wall than LeBron, not even comparable. The argument of LeBron for GOAT is 100x more reasonable than Rodgers...

Most LeBron Stans don't hang our hats to him not having enough help when he loses, its a point of fact when he's gone up against teams with stronger rosters. You noticed yesterday, Rodgers team wasn't the underdog, Rodgers team was at home, Rodgers team had the healthier roster, etc...

Don't even try to compare this guy, 90th in comeback wins, never won a GAME in his career when down double digits, this guy? Great, great player but a regular season warrior, early round playoff warrior (he's had great playoff games in the first two rounds), but he hits a wall in the Final Four and he's had a game or two in the Divisionals when he's been bad...

This is a poor thread. Playoff wins are a team accomplishment.

@Chip Skylark Do you blame Mahomes for losing the 2018 AFC Championship? If KC loses the SB are you gonna put that on Mahomes and will it be a knock that "he's only 1-1 in the SB?"

Does Mahomes get credited for a win against the Browns, or does that go to Alex Smith (or does he get a Save like in baseball)?

Winning in the playoffs is hard
Look at how many elite qbs have only 1 ring when we expected them to win many

Rodgers 1 Super bowl win, only 1 appearance
Brees 1 Super bowl win, only 1 appearance
Manning 2 super bowl wins, 4 appearances
Wilson 1 Super bowl win, 2 appearances
Brady 6 wins and 10 appearances

Brady is the only outlier

I've always said Aaron is too conservative a QB to really get it done. Talent wise there ain't much between Mahomes and Rodgers. Mahomes a little more mobile. But he got that gunslinger, lets make a play mentality, while also not throwing a lot of picks. Brady got it too. Thats how you win. Aaron got the mentality of a game manager when it's tight. Aaron primary goal is to not throw picks but he leaves a lot of points on the field because of it
