Nah, it matters to the media, considering they had to be in closer proximity to him than any of us. Ultimately, you've got to be a stupid motherfukker to handle something dumber than Kirk Cousins did, but that's Rodgers in this case. Cousins let it be known up front what his stance was, got ate up for all of like, a week, and people quickly forgot about it. By trying to to be coy and play the semantics game about it, he created the situation. No one was upset about him not being vaccinated, because that's his choice, and at that point, most media he would have to interact were good to just tiptoe past the subject when needed. They were really just upset that he lied about it. He could've easily just said at the beginning of the season that he wasn't vaccinated, didn't plan on it, and kept it moving.
They were literally in either zoom or halfway across the room.

But to show you how fukn stupid this entire thing was, Rodgers got tested daily.. so he and others knew the very day of when he would test positive. Now how about all the other vaxxed players who were tested ONCE A WEEK but were in the same proximity to those same reporters that you mentioned, but they were positive but you'd never know because they didn't test... Because the vaccine doesn't limit your ability to get the virus in any meaningful way.

You're being disingenuous about your argument when it comes to him saying he's not vaxxed vs he is. Do you not remember LeBron making international news and having a huge coli thread about him saying that it was a personal decision and not anyone's business.

Stop playing, some of y'all really don't understand or are debating in bad faith

It's wild how people on here will characterize a disgruntled player depending on if he's black or not :dead:
He ain't Carson Wentz level locker room cancer and has teammate friends including several brehs so all the external shyt is kind of whatever

Dude don't owe the Packers shyt and the Jets are clearly doing what they can to get him including signing his friends and maybe even getting old ass Randall Cobb. Even at this state he's an upgrade over what the Jets have so why are people mad about this?

The real reason most don't like him is because Rodgers didn't suck Faucis dikk. That's just a fact for most that seem to have an issue with them.

Fam, you tryna have a tired argument about vaccines, or talk about Aaron Rodgers imagining up circumstances that dictated that he should lie?

For the millionth time, the issue wasn't that he wasn't vaccinated, it was the lie, and his reaction to being called out for lying. Yeah, LeBron got roasted, and then that shyt was over with and forgotten in a week's time. Dak was out there juelzing talking about HIPAA violations and shyt, and it was forgotten by the time the first preseason game rolled around. He's a grown ass man. All he had to do was say he didn't want to get vaccinated, that he had his reasons, and move on. HE drug it out by trying to play semantics, and then acting like he was being personally attacked when reporters basically said "That's kind've fukked up that you lied, breh."

Like I said, classic sociopath shyt. Lie in a case where there was absolutely no need to, get caught, and then say it's the other person's fault you lied in the first place.

In the moment I remember him looking like a dikkhead for the lying part of that situation......but it's 2023 now. practically nobody is behaving like they care about covid at this point, the NFL certainly has moved on so it's in the past at this point. dude been trying get off the packers for years, how you mad he might actually get a chance to leave :russ:

What are you talking about..... They are the same argument. I'll never absolve him for lying, however he lied to the media about something that they don't have a right to know and honestly shouldn't matter. If he lied to the Packers then you'd have a point, but they were fully aware of his decision and others like him on the team.

I don't even think in Rodgers mind it was a lie.. in his mind he just fooled the media with clever word play on an issue THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE A RIGHT IN KNOWING, and shouldn't care about.

It should have been an instance of "oh crazy he didn't take the shot...... Oh well". But of course you have a bunch of idiots who honestly believe that because of his decision he directly could have killed people lol. That's some sociopathic chit

I don't completely disagree with you, but you saying he's being disingenuous when you're saying that people only cared that he "lied" and not that he wasn't vaxxed is just false. Most were going at him because they didn't like that he wasn't vaxxed. That should no even debatable that many nutbags in this country were crying about him not being vaxxed, while eventually being shown to be completely wrong.

So, the media is still cooking Kirk Cousins for not being vaccinated, right? Lamar Jackson has unfortunately had the 'Rona a few times, and the media is at his neck constantly about it, right?

They both made their statements, and didn't bother with trying to make sure everyone liked it, because it's their decision. Rodgers was the only one that wanted to have it both ways, and by doing so, he had to deal with a July or August questions in November, and got pissy about it.
