I think the problem came about Mugabe and the AA views of black people and WS in Africa

The general consensus was that AA don’t know enough about deep down African politics and culture as they’re far removed from anything to do with Africa besides being black

The tweet in the first post is just silly because the vast majority of African Americans support Africa and the African diaspora. If there is any AA brother who is ignorant on African affairs, why not educate them instead of trashing them? From my experience when I did take the time and effort to educate myself about the motherland, I just get hate from the Africans. Both East Africans and West Africans. But they love the wypipo that keep their foot on their necks.

I think there are a lot of black people who believe that submitting to white supremacy and putting aside any thoughts of resisting this system will bear out a favorable outcome. They're wrong, gravely so, which is why it's up to us - the ones who don't subscribe to that bullshyt - to bring them along for the ride. Most black people eventually wake up and get it. Whites aren't interested in working with Africa; they merely want to exploit it for its resource rich environment. Africa lacks the military capabilities to defend itself, unlike China, so there isn't any comparison that can be made between the two examples.

I don't know why I keep having to explain this to y'all but... MOST AAs do not know any Africans, they do not know any Caribbeans, they do not know many or any Hispanics, they do not know many or any Asians. Most of us live in the South, around black and white people. The remainder live segregated in some city somewhere. A lot of these beefs y'all claim we have, we don't. I have meet fewer Africans and Islanders than perhaps any other of America's major ethnicities.

There is no significant percentage of AAs concerned with "African Issues," and unfortunately, calling an AA black person an African will be seen as an insult most of the time.
