Top stay calling Soulo's bluff...i'm not mad at how Top is pushing TDE. He has a sought after commodity in his whole label. And he's working all their respective angles. I think this is a struggle of Ab and Top not seeing eye to eye on his album direction. I think he caved in and let Ab drop the last album his way to kinda be like "I told you..." A lot of die hard Soulo fans didn't really f*ck with These Days.
Sheeit this not 1994. Nikka has a major platform. Work new music and get a booking agent. Drop some freestyles and go on tour yourself. All that waiting is for biitches. In the digi age you got a platform with one of the biggest artists on the planet. Nobody holding you back but you. If the music don't connect especially when anything you drop is all over the blogs, web and Major outlets you gotta look at yourself. Ain't nobody to blame for folks not connecting with you and ya music.

I think Soul would if he could but the TDE philosophy is to not give away anything for free. And that's smart in this day and age.

I feel or at least hope that it's the exact opposite, especially after Control System. That album felt like Ab's album. These Days felt like it had an outside hand in it and that's why it ended up a mix of good quality Soul tracks and straight randoms like Twact

Freestyles over other people beats just to get a buzz and go on tour. He aint gotta release any songs. But that would be better than sulking talking about being on the bench. He ain't gotta be. He just released a shytty project that TDE fans still humored him by not totally shytting on....could have been much worse. I mean dudes like Yelawolf out here touring and dude been cold for years.........

I think Ab really wants the success Kendrick and Schoolboy got but his brand of music isn't the same as theirs. I feel like he is especially jealous of Kendrick because they're both about that inspirational rap but only Kendrick popped off.
Its a lot of artist that don't sell but eat off of touring. If Ab stop reaching for that Kendrick spot, he can appreciate what he has.

i didnt like Soul's last 2 projects...Control System def had some joints but i didnt enjoy it like the ones before it. These Days was completely forgettable though.

after these days, tde should just drop ab soul then make punch a full time artist. He is way better.
