Both Alori and Steez jumped off a building also I feel that the survivor guilt line is a double meaning (we know soul likes to throw in a couple of those). due to the aforementioned and as it can also be a reference made not just to the fallen but that's a song from Joey Badass last album where Soul himself spoke towards the end of the track about first meeting Steez and how he just was a different person and full of energy. I know Soul has the 47 tattoo on the inside of his foreman and him and the majority of Pro Era are close .
Oh gl...I actually had no idea Steeze died that way. I definitely remember him committing suicide, but I never got the full story.

I've always rated Soul, wasnt always a fan of his beat selection but his lyrics were hard hitting and though provoking. I wish we can work through his demons and get back to form. And if this song is anything to go by, he's headed in the right direction
That track Do Better was fantastic
