while this thread sticked, we need to have a SERIOUS discussion about the fact that Punch ain't got no songs, no less an album.

I can't remember what podcast I was listening to, but it was like Punch and some other guests,

one of the hosts was like "oh, Punch. You got bars?"

Punch was like "Nah", but the two other co-guests straight bust out laughing before he could get the "nah" out.


For real. I kinda feel like despite all the "top 5"s and Lupe baiting Soul be doing, he REALLY be matching wits with Punch every time he record a verse.

Do Better and It Be Like That legit almost brought tears to my eyes. Stunningly beautiful songs and easily some of the best joints he's ever recorded.

Album has that replay value that Control System has and the last few releases lacked. Highlights for me:

Wish we got more Kenny and Q on this or even Isiah or SZA but this album gonna be in rotation for all of 2023 for sure.

This one was average to me. Im feeling 5 or 6 joints from it. He's flowing all over the album though. I wasn't crazy about some of the production on it.

I feel you. I think some of the last tracks could've been tossed in the front to balance the ending.
