Disneyland is a separate business unit from the television networks so it doesn't work that way unless free tickets were a part her contract. Employees get some free family passes to use through out the year. Somebody probably had to eat the cost of the tickets or give up their family passes to her. And from a sales/ client relationship standpoint the executive should have sucked it up and paid for the tickets out their pocket if they valued the relationship with her and wanted to keep her happy. But if you ever dealt with entertainers/ celebs sometimes they will keep asking for more stuff outside their contract and see what they can get from you.
Exactly what do you mean by separate business unit?

Disney owns Disneyland, Disneyworld, Cruises, Hulu, Disney Plus, ESPN, ABC, Marvel, 20th Century Fox. All subsidiaries under a conglomerate company. Those are the main ones but they have more divisions than those. Shonda was with ABC. The folks at Disneyland may not have given a fukk about giving her a free pass.

That doesn't jive with the story though it never said she asked folks at Disneyland directly and implies she already had one and that when she got the other one and arrived it didn't work. Not sure I agree with your framing.

Yep. It's like if you partnered with Disney cruises and think you should get red carpet passes for a Marvel movie premier.

I'm sorry I think she wanted to leave..

She is worth all that money and mad over some disney tickets :dahell:

nikka if they won’t give a Disney land ticket when you bringing in millions of revenue you know for a fact that they won’t have your back if anything ever goes down. When you see red flags you need to pay attention and adjust accordingly.

It depends on whether the policy applies to everyone or not. It's implied she was requesting tickets beyond whatever was allotted. She aint the biggest star or talent at Disney. They sitting on billions in profit, money aint an issue.

I have hard time believing this, my friend pops works at Disney as a director and they would be limited in the number of guest passes they received for a given year. There were restrictions on when they could use those passes, but I don't buy the reason she is using here. Netflix threw the bank at her and she took it. Well played on her part, she use to own ABC Thursday programming.

where they cross-over and clap boards
I've heard worse. Years ago NC State needed a basketball coach and interviewed several candidates. Well Coach Cal came to town and NC State was courting him. They had lunch at a pizza joint and made Cal pay for his own lunch. Rumor was that's why he chose UK over NC State.
