ABC playoff coverage unappreciation thread

In the 90s, NBC would show playoff tripleheaders on Saturday and Sunday. All day long basketball on free TV, then the nightcap on TNT.

Dr J, Ahmad Rashad, Bob Costas, Doug Collins. Piff pre and postgame coverage, dope intros and the GOAT theme. shyt was a1.

Now we gotta deal w ABC only showing 1 playoff game per day on the weekends, with boring fakkits on pre and post, boring Brad Nessler or whichever cac they got now, lame AF theme song, struggle intro packages. Just lame all around.

It's not even close how much better NBC was. Marv Albert w his "Yes! And it counts!". They made an enjoyable league even more so. ABC brings it down a notch, I'd rather the whole postseason be covered by TNT.

I miss those nbc/nba days...but NBC is a completely different network today than it was in the 80's and 90's...it's filled with cac bigots now (an effect of the bill Cosby ownership fiasco)...the fukkey during their broadcasts would be HUGE if they didn't do some serious cultural adjustments internally back to what they were in the eighties(227, a different world, Cosby) before actually airing BBall again. NBC WAS dope...now they specialize in airing hockey (happily)
