Like my dude said HBO really pissed the bed with Golovkin. Had he been with Arum now, he would have been a mega star. The guy has appeal and lots of charisma with a high ko ratio. Had he been with Arum instead, he would have been built step by step and introduced to the public in a better fashion. He's never been on any PPV undercard an he has never faced good competition to make you feel like he has to bring it. Arum has said he's not gonna feed any fighters to Gennady at all because he's pointless and mean zero in the boxing world financial wise and Arum is right. It's not only K2 fault. It's GGG, his team and HBO's fault. You can't have a fighter that's 30 years old and you allow him to run around saying he wanna collect belts. HBO should have told him the same thing they told Ward whenever he picks a weak opponent. GGG first ppv was also a middle finger to Canelo and Ward because they thought they had the public fooled. Nope. They lost major money and nobody was happy about it. WHo's gonna invest in a GGG ppv now ? Would you ? Unless he's fighting Canelo and maybe Ward ? GGG could have built his name by dragging up some good angry 154 comps and call them out. He has Lara, Angulo, Charlos, Andrade, Jackson, etc... All those guys puffing their chest out, GGG should have called them out to come up to 160. You don't run around trynna fool people and flip flop every week then expect to get respect from that.

Canelo gonna wait til GGG is damn near 40 to fight him and you can't blame him either.
