Ever since I read that no soap/shampoo/deodorant article someone posted on here a few weeks back I've been trying it out for the past two weeks, I've never had heavy body odor so I knew that wouldn't be a issue but I do shower every day and still scrub my self, sometimes I shower twice a day, this is something I used to do anyways. So far I've had had two noticeable difference weirdly enough since I stopped using soap / shampoo, my skin is not as ashy or dry and I get no dandruff. The no deodorant thing hasn't been a issue since like I said I never had strong body smell like some sort Indian or African cats do and I assume the showering twice a day thing helps

No shampoo or soap, huh? :patrice:
Link me to the thread. I might give it a shot just as an experiment.

In the Silver Lining
This is hilarious, cause yesterday I forgot to put on my deo, which is a rare thing, b/se I had it in my car in a bag. So I take my bag to work and the deodorant has been depleted. So I literally think about this thread  .. I tell myself, let me just see how it works. The issue may have arisen though, when I had to take a walk outside before lunch and I got sweaty so I'm like :snoop:... i'm going to be smelling like one of them overcrowded Indian commuter trains. So I go to the restroom and take a paper towel/soap/water and then dry. I sit back down and my boss comes and speaks.....and everything seems cool.....and then they seem to back up little bit even when I'm trying to show them something on the computer. Another supervisor comes to talk to me and they also are sorta backed up a little bit. I'm like :lupe:.......I hop in my car go to the nearest grocery store grab some aluminum deodorant and swipe it up there. So I unintentionally tried this and I'm not so sure going without any for myself is the right thing to do, but I'm curious about these other methods..

baking soda and coconut oil

explain how you use it? Do you mix it into a paste or something?

I take showers in the morning

I take baths 3-4 nights a week.......I put epsom and sea salt in my bath water as well so I can reduce soreness after a heavy set at the gym.....I also do this to prep for smash session sometimes as well........Balls and but crack be Lemony Fresh :pause: Its time consuming, but if you got a problem with B.O. or if you're adverse to chemicals, this could be a good alternative...

Also, I hit old girl up and asked why she started doing it....I thought she did it as a child in the virgin islands or something, but she said she read somewhere that female porn stars used that trick to prep for anal scenes......:pachaha:

Which explains a lot.......:shaq:

Is there any way I could just scrub the lime during a shower, instead of a bath??

I've seen no negative consequences yet but like I said I shower every day and still scrub down as if I was using soap & shampoo

Norfeast groovin…
Arm and Hammer or the Toms of Maine shyts

I switched over to those cause the anti-perspirants were killing my shirts with those yellow pit stains

Tom's wasn't strong enough so I had to relapse back to them babylon chemicals cuz Gillette kills the sweat. I'ma try Tom's again but add some baking soda this time. I don't want to be in the middle of my day and the shyt fails me.

As long as you bathe everyday you shouldn't be stinking.

If your pits are stinking then it's probably because you're overweight, eat garbage, don't drink enough water, or all three.

I could never put that slimy shyt under my arms. I keep my armpit hair trimmed and use powder and I'm good to go.

Not necessarily true.
I know a swimmer (dude actually competed for the olympic tryouts) who always has bad body odor. He's this guy i know's son.

Chizzeled, eats right and im assuming he drinks plenty of water since he runs track. Him being a swimmer eveidently points that he's always in water so no questioning if he showers.

Ive only met him a few times at this annual picnic his father always organizes but i play volleyball with him and the kid always seems to have a bit of BO. Not bad like some indians or europeans but still enough to notice. grown ass 20 y/o too

That still doesn't really take away from what I said. Fat people with poor diets on average smell a whole lot worse than slimmer people with good eating habits, deodorant or not.

the deodorant industry has people fooled into thinking that they only way to not stink is to use their products, and suckers eat it right up and give them their money. sweating is a natural bodily function, we shouldn't be trying to suppress it.

I wasnt taking away from what you said, doggy. Notice i said "not necessarily true" meaning it's not that cut and dry. Never said you were wrong.

Also, to add on I know a fat person who doesnt use deododorant and does not stink. Actually he was the first person i knew that told me about it. He was a training instructor for AT&T fr a job i took back in 2008. Dude was fat (He's a Santa Clause clone and has played it in TV commercials). Homie was at least 260+.

But he told us that he had to go through a period of stinking before his body adapted and didnt stink anymore. He said you go through a period of detoxing after decades of using deodorant. He said he was like that for a few months and then all the sudden the stench was gone. I can google him and find you a pic. I know i said 260 earlier but im sure he's way over that. Let me get his name from my former coworker and find his pic online. Last i recall he was all over the net

A lot of BO has to do with diet. You can eat/live perfectly healthy but if you eat a lot of garlic/spices etc. its gonna come out in your pours.
