all types of people go there but before you go inside they recruit you to be apart of the show
ofcourse they pick out the ones who look dirty....plus everybody that go in there signs away their rights to be filmed automatically its a setup and not everybody in there is on some dirty bummy shyt they just usually avoid the camera or keep it moving
shyt literally on the border of detroit and southfield...8 mile where they can get away with that shyt cuz the police around there...they know not to have that shop in detroit

they gotta have those goon security guards. most pawn shops, the cats in there working got heat on em anyways. but for the purposes of this show, les and them can't be pullin guns on crazy ass customers.
there are bigger issues. Plus it's like on a corner of two busy streets.. and the poverty in the area is 3rd world levels... the customers realllly need the money. they want to get ripped off by these CACs. Some of the most ignorant black people in the world are their main customer base.. so it's not like your gonna have a revolution at fukk!ing American Jewelry and Loan.

It's not a minstrel show if black people that live in that area really carry themselves like that, it's just exploitation. Is it right, of course not, but is it wrong? Nope. You can't be upset when you allow yourself to be exploited, nor can you be upset when your own culture exploits themselves. Hardcore Pawn and the blacks on there are supposed to be your typical Detroit native, not African American; so why should I be upset about an image that doesn't represent me?

I don't usually mess with reality TV or TV in general--but this show has been a guilt pleasure of mine this year.
Th rachedness is unbelievable in this show...and I believe it's 100% accurate.
Just about anyone who has worked in social services will tell you that this is how many of their "clients" behave.

that daughter is all types of fugly...But i discovered it the same way...my wife and I are big Pawn Stars fans and we just discovered this flipping randomly through channels after seeing the title "hardcore pawn" in the guide and gave it a shot.
The shows are just different tho....PS is about the item and how people obtained it and the history of that item...they always get unique, one of kind items...HCP is just about the ratchedness of the customer who brings in their shytty TVs, VCRs, fur coats etc.
PS is more interesting, while HCP is more realistic.
I watch them both regularly though

i'm starting to appreciate hardcore pawn for what it is and find it funny once the shock wore off. I see all kinds of people roll up in there and they all ignorant. I thought they were just making an example of black people cause I only saw the marathon of old episodes. But the newer ones got crazy people of all races and a better variety of people. I like hardcore pawn better than Chicago pawn.
