:comeon: Breh, everyone including Floyd & TMT knew Theophane wasn't shyt. Floyd was just doing his job as a promoter giving his fighter a shot while getting him a nice payday,

It's very similar breh...watch:

:comeon: Breh, everyone including De La Hoya & Golden Boy knew Robert Guerrero wasn't shyt. Oscar was just doing his job as a promoter giving his fighter a shot while getting him a nice payday,

:mjpls:

Or how about this:

:comeon: Breh, everyone including De La Hoya & Golden Boy knew Victor Ortiz wasn't shyt. Oscar was just doing his job as a promoter giving his fighter a shot while getting him a nice payday,

:sas2:

Oscar claimed he gave the blueprint to them, knowing there was no way possible they could mess with Floyd because they weren't on Floyd's level, and they lost each time....which reminds me of Floyd gassing up Theophane and talking about "blueprints" to beat Broner, only to sit ringside and watch his fighter get beat.

To be fair, Oscar has said that he saw openings to hit Floyd when they fought, but that for whatever reason he couldn't let his hands go like he wanted.
It's possible that's true. DLH was 34 years old at the time...and let's be real here: it WAS an old 34 given the battles he had. There were some really tough fights with Trinidad, Mosley, Chavez Sr, and Hopkins.

Compubox had Oscar throwing 587 punches in the fight...48 punches per round....which is less than he threw against Trinidad and Mosley, though I'm not sure it's considerably less.

If the blueprint to beat Floyd is massive pressure and punches...then certainly Marcos Maidana executed this "blueprint" better than anyone....though coming up short.

There's really only one fight I wanted to see with Floyd that never got made: I wanted to see him fight Paul Williams. Because Wiliams was at 147 in 2007 when Floyd was and beating a bigger guy like Paul would have been impressive.
But Floyd chose to fight Ricky Hatton in December 2007 and retire rather than consider Margarito or Williams who fought earlier that summer.
