I was never a fan of assassins creed to begin with. Maybe that's why I turned it off. I'm a fan of open world sandbox games.

Ummmmm....AC4 is the best AC ever made. And I played and BEAT all of them. The story isn't as strong as AC2 but the amount of shyt you get into and the ship battles....Try taking down a fort in the middle of a storm!!!! I beat AO and didn't realize I beat the game. And it's not better than Arkham City. AC4 shytS all over AC3.

AC4 is the best AC that has ever been released. People love to shyt on these games and I still don't get it. But if you are hating on this game in particular, there is seriously something wrong with you. The plundering/sea battles alone are enough to cop this game.

Any game where you can go on a plantation and systematically kill slave owners can't be all bad.
Personally I'm really enjoying it, stealth is definitely improved (not really good but acceptable and sometimes a legit option) free running is still fun, I enjoy combat, naval combat is fun and rewarding and there's tons of stuff to do. When I get home I'll post the kotaku article from duke who hated ac3 and compares it to 4.

I'm glad to hear positive things about AC4. I loved the AC2 Trilogy, but thought AC3 was trash. I wasn't even checking for AC4 after that.
