Here's the difference. You got Battlefied 3 because PSN was GOOOOOOONE.
You didn't get BF3 because sony was like "Yo, lets reward our fanbase!"
It was "PSN is down, nikkaz is jumping ship... lets give them free games and hope they forget PSN is a joke"
Now you hyping up 2yr old games, and comparing that to Magic the gathering, acting like PSN has somehow been fixed and/or improved when in reality its only gotten worse.
XBL on the otherhand has only improved since then on XB360 and crucially more on XB1
Meanwhile, PSN for PS4 is such a mystery you'd think sony put out a NDA
