no such thing as facts you dumbass, so stop abusing that word

it is based on CONSENSUS, just like 'real life' classics are deemed based on consensus

the agreement was the acceptance rate would be 80%, not only to solidify an album as classic status in holding it to a higher acceptance rate, but also to realistically account for bias, trolling etc.

so the only FACT is that for the purposes of this 'game', 80% = a classic. Not 50%, not 55%, not 1 vote.

more people voting yes means nothing, and all it may show is that Too Short has a more consistent discog than Nas. Nas has 2 classics. Too Short has 1.

this is the only FACT you need to swallow.

and as I said before, my metric is based on consensus, and a lot of voters voted based on consensus too, it wasn't consistent the whole way through we didn't all vote based on the same parameters of judgement

but read your nonsensical title again and see how wrong you were...because Nas has 2 classics and Too Short has 1

and it doesn't mean Too Short has a BETTER discog, just more consistent

plus we didn't get the same amount of votes as another user said, so there are far too many things to consider before we deem it an equal comparison

I don't even think you can even give breh that. The most votes on a Too Short album was 40-something. Meanwhile, Nas got like almost 180 total votes for illmatic. On a serious note, not to add yet another arbitrary criterion but @Inspect Her Deck can we really call something a classic if they can't even get 50 yes votes on a forum as big as the coli? Seems like you need a number for a quorum. For example if we had an album get only 5 votes, yet 4 of them were a yes, could you honestly, genuinely say it's a "coli classic"? Under the current rules, it technically would be. There's something to be said for the total votes reflecting if people actually are interested and care enough about an album.

I have extended voting once before for The Geto Boys but even then we only ended up getting maybe 10 extra votes max
