:merchant: I'm one of those dummies that showers with his phone and earphones in. I Know it's not plugged in but still
As long as its not plug in, its cool. A phone battery does not have the potential to pass enough current into the bath to kill you. But this dumbass, RIP, made a direct connection into the outlet into her bathwater to charge her phone.

These cell phones are making people dumb and lose common sense.

This is safe though. Any water that actually gets into the phone would short circuit it. You could literally throw a phone into someone's bath water while they're in it and the phone would just go to shyt. But they have cases to protect phones these days for folks who shower and wanna enjoy it.

They must not have GFCI outlets in Europe. They have to be installed anywhere that there's power near water in America and they immediately kill the power to prevent things like this from happening.
That’s why they have those buttons there, didn’t know what the outlets were called :ohhh:.

Really want your mind blown? Look at the distance of them from your kitchen sink, then look at the length of all your kitchen appliance cords. It's physically impossible for an appliance to fall in your sink and electrocute you.

Way before they GFCI or electrical and building codes to keep people alive. You probably have asbestos, lead paint, and aluminum wires too. Why people stay away from flipping old houses.
idk its weird i know ita been remodeled a few times, I got an outlet like every 4 ft :yeshrug:
