She needs to be doing 20+ behind bars. I'd give false accusers in these situations a minimum of 20 years, and up to receiving the death penalty..


Falsely accusing a person and KNOWING that they could be sentenced to decades behind bars for something you know they didn't do is right in the same category as actually being raped. On that note, I'd give her 30 years here.

A jury found Shawn Oakman, a former Baylor defensive end, not guilty of sexual assault Thursday after a three-day trial.

It only took the jury about two hours of deliberation to reach the verdict.

"They slandered my name," Shawn Oakman said. Oakman said he felt like his life had been taken him the past three years. Now, he said he plans to get it back.

A jury found Shawn Oakman, former Baylor defensive end, not guilty of sexual assault. He was initially charged with the crime three years ago, but now his name is cleared. Oakman says he wants to return to his love of football.

Channel 6 legal analyst Liz Mitchell said it's fair to say the state did not have a strong case in the Oakman trial.

I noticed when I did a YouTube search for these clips, the only media outlets reporting this are these local Waco media outlets. None of the national media outlets that were reporting when he was accused back in 2016 are talking about it.
