i've never heard a solo Aceyalone album outside of the one he did with RJD2. i have a feeling they're corny.

I depends on what U consider corny. U ended up liking Moka and I know peeps who feel he's corny...Acey and Del too.

Acey just has a masterful command of the english language and has that it factor when it comes to EMCEEin.

Off his debut solo All Balls Don't Bounce 1995

my concern is more about the beats. freestyle fellowship didn't exactly have a great track record of slammin' production and the tidbits of acey's solo work i heard over the years seemed extra backpackery.

Moka's beats are in that Dilla/Madlib/Count Bass/DOOM groove wheelhouse i like.

I feel you...Acey's 3rd album Accepted Eclectic had production that was more boom bap in a sense with production from Evidence and Joey Chavez.

Acey's work is a lot more eclectic than backpackery to me. Yeah I guess U either love or hate Acey like Del.

i agree with wuth the corny thing some people find moka only delivery boring as hell. same thing for aceyalone.

i will say that attractive sin was a step in the right direction as it pertains to del and his choice of beats

^it maybe the same for me as well

while im a fan of Moka, i was say del has tonality and a way of switching his bars up and also putting a stress on certain lines. Aceyalone is dope but albums like Grand imperial production in my opinion was sub-par

I agree here but Moka's production is so dope it puts him over IMO. If both Del & Moka have albums on the shelves, I'm grabbing Moka's first.

This is true. I listened to Mowglis best of moka only mix and :whew: that man has the production and thankfully the flow is consistent enough to make even on the nonsensical tracks entertaining. I heard dels last album. The production was good but his flow has deteriorated into nothing. I almost sent him a message on twitter to tell him to step his flow up because it was so terrible.
