Man, there's something about the beats Action chooses. It's not that they aren't dope. fukk it's hard to explain. I don't think he's the best rapper on the kind of beats he goes with. I feel like a lot of times he picks in the middle beats from a lot of the producers he works with.

I don't think that was a problem until his last few projects

I always liked the party supply beats harry fraud and Tommy mas ones he had early on

It's clear his last few projects that he hadn't spent as much time on music with all his other side projects happening

Hopefully that changes with this album

Yeah I liked Rare Chandeliers and Blue Chips. I thought Well Done was pretty good also.

Saab Stories was pretty cool.

I didn't really like Mr. Wonderful at all besides Terry and 1-2 other joints. I thought it was a pretty weak album.

I like Bronson better as a personality and less as a rapper. I think he is suffering from a bit of overexposure honestly. He dropped so many tapes and projects before his debut album, which people expect to be better. And it wasn't. So I think that turned a lot of people off.

I think it all goes back to him not putting in enough work on the music side

If you go back to pre his first industry album most of his mixtapes while he's not exactly Nas i think he's a solid enough rapper and his charisma brings it to another level

On mr wonderful and his last few projects he's gotten so lazy lyrically. he's been bad.

He's has it in him to be a lot better question is how much does he love doing the music anymore

This for example should have been on mr wonderful and is a perfect intro to an album

Jah tigers dope too. Action could make a dope album off unreleased joints

Action Bronson has never spit anything lyrically that made me go "Damn, son can spit! ". Clearly, he jacked Ghostface style and tried to make it his own. I dig the fact he can cook and seems like a funny dude. But as a rapper, no way I can sit through an entire album. He's just not that nice. I'm actually kinda surprised that folks still look out for him. White fans always were the last to jump off board on cats who fell off though. Like Wu-Tang fans still bumping their shyt after RZA fell off with that bullshyt Bobby Digital trash :yeshrug:

It's about entertainment to me a rapper doesn't have to wow lyrically if he has charisma and flow and can craft songs and has an ear for beats

Action lyrically has gotten bad lately but listen to some of his old stuff especially the blue chip albums. Lyrically he's not bad at all

The best Action Bronson projects are projects with producers that know him and make beats that bring more like to what hes rapping about, hence why his best stuff is Blue Chips 1 & 2 (Party Supplies) , Rare Chandeliers (The Alchemist) , Well Done (Statik Selektah)
