The Boom Bap Era
I said it before but I think the guy smoked himself out. His recent projects seem lazy even with the producers he has.

Also, like others said before, he's boring and hasn't expanded as an MC, plus the ESPN fiasco, i definitely have not cared for his projects since.

He's great TV personality, just not a great MC :ld:

Another thing too is can we get an introspective joint? The only one I ever heard was on Well Done.I feel like he doesn't have much to talk about?

I feel like you can take any raps from any song and put it on any beat and you wouldn't be able to tell a difference.

Redman is a rapper that can rap about nothing but keep it fresh.

Action's dopeness is only as dope as his production, straight up. He also chooses a lot of weaker producers, minus Alchemist.

I'd love to hear him over some more elite production.

Also, he always pics beats with the light drums man. or no drums. I wanna hear Action over a straight banger. Everything is seems like it's basically a straight loop with little to no drums.

Roc Marci and Ka and Conway can pull that off. And even Conway raps over a lot of more traditional bangers.

I'm sounding like a hater and I'm trying not to.

Thing is it never bothered me because it was his lane and he did it great

But his last few joints he doesn't even rhyme anymore he seems to be putting in little effort at all since he got the tv deals and other projects

Where did this Bronson go?

These joints and many others show he's a very good mc when he wants to be which is the frustrating part

And some in here saying he can't carry a album I don't buy since he's made a lot of dope projects I just think he doesn't give a sh1t anymore since he blew up outside the music

See this is what I mean.

Daringer? Heat. Alchemist? Heat. KNXWLEDGE? Heat. But there were no stand out bangers IMO. Will listen again later but it was just a cool listen... nothing exciting though. Blue Chips 2 was just rap after rap after rap after beat after beat... maybe I just gotta let this sink in.

And :beli: at people sayin this is on Rare Chandeliers level. Rare Chandeliers was nice, brehs. Mike Vick >>>>>> Blue Chips 7000

Cosign on Rare Chandeliers being better than this album.

It's interesting. I guessed wrong on some of the production. I thought maybe Daringer did Bonzai and that Alchemist did Chop Chop Chop.

But yeah. Cool listen. Better and more consistent than Mr. Wonderful. I was able to listen to this all the way through without skipping anything, but I also wasn't really excited to listen to any of it again.

Bonzai and The Choreographer are my favorite joints.

I think his official albums this and mr wonderful aren't as good as his mixtape albums because of sampling issues

He said his favorite tracks off this album didn't make the album because they couldn't clear the sample
