there are over a million threads on here. constantly being served... JBO alone requires vast resources, im sure. probably the stickiest database in existence. if you build it they will come, but they will also scare the fukk out of all the women. if you were a girl would you wanna see that shyt regularly lol. the rest of the internets are just as bad. i sort of like r/AskReddit but in any question/AMA by a woman, you can scroll down into the comments to see her mention all the weirdoes messaging her, for nude pictures, or to send threats, etc.

i thought about this... someone could set up a burner email address. you could start a thread thats publicly viewable, and have the email to contact displayed (type it out like president at whitehouse dot gov, etc). tell them to make the subject line the answer to a question that only they would know. you'd get a lot of robot spam, but its a burner account, who cares. if you make contact, you could talk to a mod and have them reset their password, couldnt you?

its a lot of effort for a forum account and it relies on the person looking up themselves (or browsing as a guest), but some people have hundreds of thousands of posts on here. it would be... troubling to not have access to that. who knows what you've said in all that time? its not my business to tell anyone how to run their site, but you guys are taking money, mine included. users shouldn't be locked out of their accounts like that, even if its their own fault (how do you forget your own password?).
