For a campus like MSU that is built into the east lansing city area, there is not much you can do to stop anything like that. East Lansing is one of the more safer areas there is in general too. I feel bad for the victims and families.

I actually attended the first all black charter school in Lansing’s history (Sankofa Shule) I was there in 2000 when Mateen Cleaves and Morris Peterson led the Spartans to the NCAA Championship and went to the parade.

It’s amazing, you’d think supposedly black posters would understand the parallels between our distrust of CACs and women’s fear towards men.

I don’t get offended when women say that because history and present facts supports their reasonable trepidation towards us. I know I’m not like that but they don’t know me.

Same as a CAC saying “I’m one of the good ones” but history has shown they can’t be trusted collectively.

Yeah, as @NormanConnors said East Lansing basically IS Michigan State. The entire town is essentially part of "campus". This could easily happen at a big state school inside of a city or large town. NYU, USC, UCLA, Michigan, Ohio St, Temple...basically any college that isn't in a "college town" far from major populations.
But idk if dude was off one, but also this could be some 42 year old incel who chatted up some girl from MSU and went nuts. Without a manifesto we may never know.
