Read the book this movie was based on cover to cover and I can certainly say not even Daniel Day Lewis or Oldman with their method acting could pull the lunacy required for the plot. Not that you'd go trying to change your stance on him, but you've got to find some sort of funny in the 'disgust'. Sober or high, Cage's scene chewing, I can't help but find entertaining. Also, his Action star hero roles aren't too bad either IMO. But that's me.​

I love how in this clip, he hits three women in the face and kicks one into the wall.
