We (Phillies) had the division lead all Summer....just not talented or experienced enough to hold it.

Y'all didn't have it all summer...y'all had it for a solid month around the all star break but we've had the lead since August. I disagree about the talent, Philly has a solid roster with a lot of young talent. Defensively y'all are trash tho...y'all gotta cut down on the errors to seriously compete

As for us, it's wide open. My expectations are to compete and have fun, i don't expect this to be a World Series champion but this has been a fun ride so far.

I feel that. Duvall is butt but he is still a GG-caliber defender with decent speed and has power if he can ever figure out how to make contact again. I'm good either way because either one actually getting an AB is worst case scenario anyway

Yea I'm more concerned with getting the pitching right than Adams or Duvall. Snit in late game situations gonna have us stressed out

At the end of the day, the Phillies have the talent and the money to become a power this offseason. Sadly for us, we don't won't to spend money and the old group locked us into a shyt TV deal getting easy money on us.

I can't lie tho, I love Snit. Reminds me of my 9th Grade PE teacher. In a game that's so mentally taxing, I think his presence and leadership gets us as many wins as his dumb decisions get us losses.

The Braves took on extra dead money this season to clear up the books so that we can spend in the offseason. Bad TV deal aside the Braves will open up the checkbook to get some starting pitching and bullpen help. It'll be between us and Philly for the foreseeable future in this division

We actually got money to blow this offseason. Kemp's money is finally off the books and pretty much just Freddie, Flow, O'Day, and Teheran are on post-arbitration contracts. Everybody else making pennies. We don't need Harper or Machado, but we should be able to make a few key upgrades
