I am pretty sure NO was interested in acquiring a player better than AD, only problem is there is at most 5 and they aren't easy to get.
Weird thing happening with AD. I get that he's disappointed so far this season but nikkas was on this shyt coming off that dominant title run where he played hurt, defended everybody, and was killing nikkas at every level. I don't get it. nikkas copped every plea for Wade, Kyrie, and especially Bosh and Love but AD, the one with as many playoff series wins without Bron as Kyrie, Love and Bosh combined, is the guy whose team success we are gonna harp on?

You can make an argument he can’t be a clear #1 on a championship team but to say he was never top 10 is 
. He’s been a top 10 guy for a good while now.
He also has elite talent to be the #1 guy but he might just not have the desire, this is why I don’t put him over Dirk or KG like some do. This year is a good example, he should be more aggressive than Lebron but you would think he is the 18 season old vet

I made a similar post after the Lakers won it.He was born to play a Pippen role. Those pelicans teams weren’t trash, other players have done more with less
he was the perfect player for lebron to team up with, ad has no ambition to be the number 1 guy on a team. Once lebron retires the Lakers should lure a clear #1 for ad to tag along with
AD is an all world talent, but he isn't an alpha. I'll be curious to see what he does as LeBron gets older and the burden of carrying them falls more on him.
Our roster wasn't anywhere near trash his last 2-3 years with us, but that's a talking point for people that don't follow us and just know we are small market team with a star that isn't producing wins. It didn't help that his azz use to stay hurt a lot too.

AD ain't that dude and they'll probably get frustrated with him and see for themselves as LeBron gets older and he has to carry more of the burden on both ends.

It's hard to get those type of guys period much less to come to smaller market teams. Everybody wants to live in LA, NYC, or Miami. I think that trend is wack but that's the nature of the climate we live in.

KG was a league mvp and took his team to wcf. With a good team, he definitely was capable of being a #1 on a championship roster. AD has Lebron outplaying him this season and showing more effort lol. I am not blaming AD for not doing anything with Pelicans because he had bad rosters but with Lakers there is really no excuse. Last year the team rating went down when Lebron would go to the bench. AD needed a good playmaker on the court at all times. Any Laker fan who watched all games would tell you the same.
