how would you go about determining whether a LT or Safety should be in the MVP race?
thats another question totally.

but, let me answer your question with another question-how do you determine if a LT or Safety is good ?

You don't think thats an accurate statement?
nah. QB has probably the most reactionary responsibility, since the ball goes through him on ever play and is the biggest decision-maker on the field, but overall...football is too much of a team game for one position to be clear cut above all. theyre really trying to change it now making the league extremely pass-happy...but still.

unless a qb is elite or on other end of spectrum, garbage...he doesnt really affect the outcome of the game more. and if a qb is elite, I can name you a few positions a few elite players make as much impact. like, revis, jj watt/justin smith, AD, randy moss/to, ed reed/polamalu in their prime, and so on.

so since most qbs fall in between garbage and elite, for most part their impact on the game is greatly overstated.

Even I have to agree that this is race baiting. Adrian has had a tremendous season this year. His story alone coming back from a torn ACL and only missing 1 game and still rushing for 2,000 yards is amazing. I would love for him to win just like I was rooting Shaun Alexander and Tomlinson when they both won.

But, what will really be important to me is RG3 winning the Superbowl. He'll be the 2nd black quarterback to start and win the superbowl after Doug Williams. Some fans probably never even heard of Doug Williams.

:kobedamn:

There is no position on the field that affects the outcome of a game more than the QB
. There is no similar position in basketball.

Also, Larry Brown and Dexter Jackson have Super Bowl MVP trophies.

:avery wtf:
