He's much further ahead as a passer than Kaep who doesn't even know how to reset himself in the pocket

kaep is still a very raw passer, and has average at best pocket awareness. which leads to him very rarely stepping up smoothly in the pocket, as this gif shows.

but to his credit he doesnt nearly have terrible decisions geno does.

if geno can cut out the mistakes on decisions, he can become a solid qb. but thats kinda a mountain to climb

He was probably killing Carr and Kaep because they both stunk last season. The problem with your "film watching" is your comparing Geno playing ok spurts to other shytty QB's in the league. Why dont you a full year of Luck or Wilson's "film" and get back to me with your comparisons to Geno.
