What’s up with this UnHarlem like thread title
Perkins is a Buffon, Ja is literally why the league been moving away from those inner city and lower middle class players of that upbringing.. It’s literally now 2nd Gen legacy players who’s dads were in the nba and upper middle class and rich suburban kids and euro white boys that’s being chosen for that's future of the league
Ja ain't even inner city or lower middle class. He's from outside of a town in SC....rural area.
If you are inner city or lower middle class, you are being identified early and moved to more affluent private schools EARLY. Hell look at Bron.
Ja is just a goofy growing up in the social media era living out his rapper fantasies for clout. The sooner he treats it as entertainment and nothing more, he'll get it together.
If not, it's bushes. He ain't the first to throw it away on stupidity.
I don’t like SAS implying that Ja might be doing borderline criminal stuff like this unless he knows what the NBA uncovered, just seems really dangerous to do so without clear evidence:
2 college educated parent home where his pops built a full court in their backyard. Jah is NOT lower middle class one bit.Rural area is lower income bro….
You think it takes a lot to building a bball court in the back yard in a rural area? Come on man2 college educated parent home where his pops built a full court in their backyard. Jah is NOT lower middle class one bit.

I think it goes deeper than this. I think they could be wondering if this dude is going to fall off completely and be out of the league in a year or two or even worse, get caught up in some sh*t and his life is at stake. We've seen players f*ck shyt off before but not a rising superstar with a $200 million dollar bag on the line with Nike, Powerade, etc. throwing him even more bread at him. Also how his pops and family moves.. this is like uncharted waters were dealing with here. IMO its not really even about how many games he gets big or small. Its really about can he stop and is he going to keep taking it a step further until the real gunplay starts up.Suspending Ja for 50+ games or the whole season sets a bad precedent. Their are guys who did far worse & was suspended for lesser games.
Nah, we've seen cases like Ja before. Rodman, JR Rider just to name a couple of examples.I think it goes deeper than this. Folks also have to stop with that narrative of someone being from the burbs or middle class family not being a thug or knucklehead.I don't know of many people period having that.
And again, both of his parents are college grads.
That nikka is not lower middle class fam. Sumter is like an hour and a half from my hometown of Charleston SC. He didn't grow up struggling like that at all or even close to it from people that know his fam. He wasn't rich or upper middle class either, but he wasn't poor.
