Quick story about CACs. My dad works for one of the biggest Catholics Churches in Louisiana. My brother got into a lot of big trouble early 2000s. (attempted murder and drugs) The Church helped my family secure a top lawyer and my brother got off light. Year or so later, brother got in trouble again. Church was done with him. Washed their hands. A lot of times they're give you one chances, after that, it's over.

Vernon Maxwell suspended only 10 games for attacking a fan.

Rodman got 11 games for kicking that camera man. 6 games for headbutting a ref.

Stephen Jackson only got 7 games for pleading guilty for felony charge of criminal recklessness.

Miles Bridges got 30 for that no contest of a felony charge. But will only serve 10 when he signs with a team.

You're ignoring that Silver is the head honcho of the league. You can't have a sit-down with the boss to apologize, get a slap on the wrist and do the same thing a couple of months later. He has to, simply to invoke his authority. If he doesn't do anything now, the entire league will take advantage. If Ja was on probation, any infraction could send him to jail...no matter how minor. Think of this as such.
