excellent idea, involve the NBDL teams as well, let them shine on a national stage, they might shock the country. it would be like Hoosiers 2 :krs:

fold the NCAA completely, make the B1G, ACC (who? :mjpls: ), the SEC, the PAC-12 and All-American or whatever the fukk it's called the second tier, all other conferences third tier, D-II fourth tier, D-III third tier

bottom 6 teams in the league fight to stay in the NBA, if they lose, they make it back the next year by winning the second tier league title

basketball relegation battles :blessed: an invitation for fukkery :blessed:

no more tanking :blessed: no more lotteries :scusthov: more academies linked to teams to ensure that USA Basketball runs the planet for another 150 years :blessed:

this may seem crazy and stupid to you now, but genius is always mocked early on

Relegation would force bad teams to play hard all season or suffer a massive drop in revenue.
They already are faced with that. And the owners would just collect more money from revenue sharing.

The only way to stop tanking is to change the draft.

Revenue sharing only nets these teams 3-4 million. If teams got sent down to the D League they'd lose tens of millions of dollars in lost TV money.

And the league would lose billions in tv revenue. They only are paying so much, because there is so much programming. No one would watch if the Wizards played D Leaguers
