No, no it will destroy parity the big markets will dominate free agency with the money they'll throw out like Boston, New York, LA have in baseball.

If theres a hard cap and theres no limit to how much you pay someone then the league will be more balanced

If theres a 120 mil hard cap and durant can get 45 mil, curry can get 45 mil, klay can get 30, draymond 30, then golden state cant afford all these guys

You wouldnt see more than 2 stars on any team, unless dudes were on their rookie deals

But then that kind of punishes teams that draft well. If they want to pay to retain star players that they drafted, you're limiting what you can surround them with.

Youd surround 2 stars with role players that compliment the stars. Gm's dont want this cuz it would force them to be competent.

This current system makes tanking/sucking too tempting/rewarding if done right

We been in the top 3 payroll the last 3 years and played the tax this year. Team hasn't been cheap you talking nonsense

I'm a fan of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. I have followed OKC from the beginning. The front office along with the coaching staff have a habit of hindering/holding back players so they don't have to pay them top dollar. OKC's front office also love to trade away talent instead of paying. That is why they lost KD and will probably lose Russ.

Breh, with a hard cap, Durant's not gonna get $45 mil from a smart team. The team that would be dumb enough to make that offer

a) would make that offer to anybody

and

b) would signify that you wanted to be alone on your team, because nobody will take that kind of cut to join him (and if there's no max salaries, then there wouldn't be rookie deals either)

This is another level you have a 73 win team adding the 2nd best player in the league after that player had a 3-1 lead against that team and was a legendary Klay shooting performance away from beating them and maybe winning a title

So not only is a team that almost won getting better but one of the only teams that could compete with them just got weaker

Aside from massive injuries this is gonna be the least competitive nba season ever

So you're saying lebron is 3rd since curry is number 1 :lolbron:

so Adam is annoyed that in the last few years we have seen the Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, The Spurs, Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers win chips

seems somewhat like some parity there

he will be another commissioner who will try to fukk up a good thing by incessant meddling.......

People care about entertaining stories and players more than fukking parity.........

Stern and others never gave a fukk when the Lakers, Bulls etc were winning big

ninjas in here talking bout hard caps and franchise tags...

I can see why the owners win in public opinions because you dudes are gullible as fukk......
