Light Years ahead and other owners not happy about it.

Silver just looking out for the owners and trying to garner public support for the lockout that is about the occur during the next cba negotiations.
:dahell: Thought nikkas were on some bullshyt when they said there would be a lockout...I mean what the fukk more do you want? you got the 50% you wanted, teams aren't losing money. Now you mad nikkas are able to sign with other teams since new CBA(you wanted ) makes it affordable to do so?? :wtf:

All teams have the opportunity to compete, but you can't stop a player from leaving when he's allowed to.

OKC at one point had KD/Russ/Harden/Ibaka. They didn't want to pay Harden so they shipped him off, they had injury problems that kept them from advancing the next 2-3 years. KD had a chance to leave, he did. Russ will probably do the same.

Even if KD didn't go to OKC, the other teams he looked at, outside of Boston, he would've joined "elite" players.

I'm not sure how you can stop that.

Choose Kendrick Perkins over James Harden then complain about your small market team not being able to compete brehs.
OKC shouldn't have had to choose between Perkins and harden. The problem is that the cba changed right after we signed Perkins and then the league retroactively rose ruled Kevin durant. Which cost us 3mm per year out of the blue. Before the lockout we could have signed all of them without caring about a repeater tax. The point was to help small market teams when in fact it helped destroyed one. The next lockout will be worse for the players. Tags potentially and percentage of the cap rules .blame durant for this .

The owners are going to suffer most. The new leader of the NBAPA have been anticipating this.

The retroactive Rose Rule was completely the catalyst for the Harden trade and now this. They got fukked over by the rules changing.
