Adblock Isn't Working on Youtube Anymore?

I saw an ad today for the first time in awhile also. It was on an embedded link, so not sure if that plays into it or not, as I haven't watched any vids through the site yet.
On a side note, (some) Twitch ads are showing through Chrome now also, but NOT in Firefox (atleast not yet). I googled, and there's not much, but I did see a reddit from November bringing it up. Hopefully the guy(s) that make the apps are good enough to figure out out to get around this.

I was viewing the video on their site. So I can confirm it's just not for embedded videos.
I might have to really start using Firefox again, and I haven't used that regularly in years. I was just watching that Ice Cube interview with the Breakfast Club and they had an ad when it started, an ad right in the middle of the vid and an ad at the end of it
Oh shyt, does that mean Im gonna get rushed by VEVO again? 
In your adblock settings turn off "allow non-intrusive ads" or whatever it's called.

I ended up just adding another extension to my browser, AdBlock Plus in addition to the AdBlock joint that I had
Don't use Twitch but I guess they have an adblock detector on there.
Script blocker might be the only way to go then.
Are you using Adblock or Adblock Plus?

Yeah, I have "NotScripts" for Chrome, and the only scripts I have allowed on the site are twitch itself, and "jtvnw.net", which I'm assuming is JustinTV, and both are required to even watch a stream. So yeah, they clearly found a way around it.
Adblock Plus.
Yeah, I just pulled up twitch myself. I see ads on there as well, not on Youtube though after putting ABP on
