Started out at 18mg and ended it at 27mg. I was on it for like a 3month period at one time. Decided to quit because I couldn't handle the side effects; body aches, numbness, body overheating, extremely irritable, insomnia

It works and I can get a shyt load of work done when I'm on it, but it's not worth it for me.

Happy you were able to get off.

I have been on it for a long time now, so it's been harder for me to ween off.

Also, as a woman. I really am into my looks (I know...vain) and when I don't take it - I gain like crazy. I eat stuff I never eat. People have to hide food from me and ish.

Vyvanse and Mydayis are basically the same thing as Adderall, just extended release versions. Vyvanse and Adderall XR are essentially the exact same thing, except Adderall XR is MUCH cheaper.

Any IR (instant release) stim alternatives that are less addictive and won't make me gain a ton?

If you haven't taken nootropics before take one of them @ a time and see how you respond.

Phenylpiracetam builds up a tolerance, so you'll want to cycle.

Adrafinil has the cleanest focus, but reports say it can be hard on your liver as it converts to modafinil.

Noopept effects are more subtle, but it works wonders on your focus and memory over time.

I would take all of these sublingually.

CBD won't make you sleepy, though it's great for insomnia. For good coffee, look up "third wave" coffee shops in your area. Try a light roast, they tend to be stronger and can often have very wonderful complex tastes. The only drawback of third wave coffee shops is having to deal with the cave savages, but it is what it is at this point.

Try Rhodiola Rosea and some form of ginseng (panax/korean is best) in the mornings.

I feel where you coming from, but I gotta disagree. I’ve made it to a decent level, but I’m still kinda all over the place. My attention goes from one thing to the next out of a particular set of items. I force myself to do what I have to do, but it would be nice to not have to try so hard to stay focused. In my opinion ADHD hinders my potential, even if only a little.
