I have. I also did a stim break for 9 months last year. Right after I made this thread. It was hell. But, I go through it -- but I went back to the devil.

Now, I am on a lose dose of Concerta -- so I will see how that goes.

I think it may be because I am vegan?

Maybe I'm not metabolizing the meds properly. I am getting a Advanced Vitamin Panel on Thursday. So that will also tell me something I hope.

vegans also tend to lack vitamin b12, which is very relevant to mood/energy/focus but you prob know that already

Right. And I have the mthfr gene. And I have to admit I have been taken my Methy-B-12 or Methyl Folic Acid like I should. I am going to get it together though before something happens.

b12 dosage is so confusing. im not vegan, but i remember looking into how much the dosage should be, and i was seeing strange numbers like 25 mcg a day, but the supplements are like 1000+ mcg per tiny pill:gucci: I think taking it orally a very small percent is absorbed too.

maybe the injections are more effective than the pills, not sure tho

I agree. I take the Jarrow brand -- but I know I be overdosing on it when I am consistent taking it. Cause it taste like Candy. It's too damn good.

I did the shots before - but it was weird getting them. I am going to ask my Doc and Nutritionist about the shots - and what's the best way to get it in.

I do know Addy messed with my Potassium levels -- cause last year I had dehydration and went to the ER and I had very low Potassium. And I know Addy was why.

Have you tried meditation, cbd, even full on weed??? Somehow humans made it a millenia without these drugs, now they're everywhere and people are addicted... This can't be life. This girl I used to date is a pharmacy manager and she doesn't even like taking aspirin, unless the pain is THAT BAD. Told me everything I need to know about pharmaceuticals.... Hope y'all find your way free
Meditation doesn't work, I've tried it.

I would lay on my bed, keep both arms to my sides, feet straight out, turn on nature noises (they help me relax a bit), and breathe through my nose to my diaphragm.

The thing I hate the most that comes with ADHD, is that I lose motivation/interest quickly and I will feel motivated every once in a blue moon.

What’s up with all these adderall threads?
I got 2 adderall pills someone gave me like 3 months ago but I gotta find someone to give em to cause I don’t pop pills. A nikka told me he took an adderall for the first time and literally wrote a whole book that night :dead:

Meditation is one of those things where someone can explain the concept, but can’t really articulate exactly what you supposed to feel. But in the beginning, you will have to attempt to meditate several times and you won’t “get it” But eventually you will have a breakthrough and an aha moment and you will know how to meditate. I suggest you keep attempting. Each attempt make sure to be neutral to any thoughts you have, and try to concentrate on nothingness without really concentrating.

Just my suggestion but guided meditation is likely to give you different results. That's how I started, to me it's one of things you don't really teach yourself-- and I say that as someone with a (bad) habit of teaching myself things :whoo:


There's definitely a point where you can manage on your own but those beginning steps are crucial for accountability and instilling discipline. A lot of this shyt is learning how to REFRAME thought patterns, breh. Like that comment about "losing motivation/interest"-- If youu reframe and increase your self discipline appropriately you'll look at that kinda thought like :hhh:

Same goes for the way you see this "condition"-- It's only a liability if you're using it wrong, how can you make it an asset??? You're NOT gonna discover expedient thoughts on those pills, at least I doubt it.
