Still wrong. Point of emphasis... If a person of ANY color had pipes like ADELE does, they would be recognized. Whitney even through all her life problems was still looked at as arguably the greatest voice we've ever heard. Anybody can sing. But voices like these don't come around every day. Simple.

Okay I see we are arguing two different things now.. You are saying anyone of any color would be recognized... I am saying someone Adele wouldn't be as big is she were black... Sure she might be "recognized", I don't think she would be as popular though...
There are blacks singers that exist right now that can sign just as good as Adele and aren't really as big on a mainstream level, like Jill Scott...

Then why didn't Joss Stone blow up? In my opinion. Adele blew up because 21 became the breakup soundtrack for every female in the world. It was her songwriting not her race.

I feel as though I am unbiased as well... I own all of Adele's music... I know she is talented... I still think if she were black she wouldnt be as big just based off of the commodity factor... That is just how things work... If anything I am looking at it from a purely business standpoint, not a race standpoint
