Admitting that you may not be the best, is the first step. Realizing that the secret of success is just showing up with your skill set is what will make you succesful. Too may people convincing themselves they don't belong. In my experience, if you show up with at least 75 percent, whether its classes, on time for work, at the gym, etc., you will get buy. The only motivation is to establish the habit of showing up

:jbhmm: says who? I think that's more of an opinion based thing

Which part of that sentence?

I can only assume that you are saying I'm not a good writer because the other part: the "it factor" would be apparent right away.

Sooooo many people even down to Don Cheeto (prez elect) seem to have no talent but the masses get behind them.

So fukc it. If you wanna keystlye battle leggo

I ain't good at shyt...but I know I want...

The key is to know what you want...there is always gonna be someone better than you...but the people that attain the most success got 3 things going for them...

1. They know what they want...
2. They surrounded themselves with people that can do what they want...
3. They got a lot of help...

People like me...get those super specialist types that become experts on shyt and tell them what the fukk to do...

I guess out of billliiiooons of people you can only have so many champs (since there are only so many activities to become champ of).

But you always imagine yourself as being the best SOMETHING one day.

I know the Coli is the meeting place of all the richest, most dapper players in all the wwweb but:

Anyone else resigned to the fact of just being a regular moe. A spectator. An average person?

The irony of this post is that settling for mediocrity is precisely why many people are mediocre,

Everyone has the capacity to gain mastery over something, few will put in the time and proper training

I would say that I am an expert MC (we're talking Classic Hip Hop not Contemporary) but nothing ever popped.

Popular music has passed me by such that I have no desire to rap to the new style of tracks. I only feel at home on 90s East Coast beats.

Niqqas have advised me to listen to new stuff and update my style.

Disgusting to those of us who remember when biting was a sin. I'd rather just quit trying to pop than become 99 Savage.

I have dabbled in other artistic stuff like making beats and writing screenplays - which I haven't put n the 10k hours admittedly - but it's middling at best.
I only feel comfortable making old 90s East Coast :obama:

Wanna make something? :leon:

Investing money in stocks as I've finally re-re-realized is the best way to be a multiple champ. You can't do everything you want to do as far as ideas, so investing, it seems, allows others to do the work, and you cheer for their success, which makes you (best case scenario) a champ financially.

Maybe that's confusing, but that's my thought process now. If I can be really good at 1 or 2 things, maybe partially good at a 3rd, which can afford me a very comfortable lifestyle in the present and future, then that's satisfying. I want to make the world a better place, but there are limitations. Which again is why you champion people and causes that are doing things you are interested in, since you as single being can't do it all. Support and/or cheer for their success which makes you a champ spiritually.

Efficiency of fulfillment on Maslow's Chart is the name of the game.

Some people aren't meant to be masters over anything.

And that's ok

You have to have a certain work ethic and dedication, then on top of that passion and understanding and then usually on top of that to really be a savant just be naturally gifted in that area.

The world tells us today that your either a master or a failure and that's simply not true.

Its great to try fail and give things a shot, give it your all make mistakes and grow.... but at some point you have to be real with yourself otherwise you'll live in some delusional world and never truly get to enjoy a peaceful engaging life.

All the average people I know are walking around happy, own home(s) and car(s) have a family traveling and living life. While others I know have a idea or plan every month to make money. Its the only thing keeping them motivated. Last month is was making shirts and polo's.

Its good to be able to look inside yourself and know what your built for and can handle and excel at.

Everyone is different.
