I think some people see those statements as - voter suppression. But, I am sure those members will say they are not voting for any candidate that doesn't have a "black agenda."

I can't speak for them. So, I don't know. I even had to ask them what they mean -- cause I'm voting -- and them saying that makes people think we are encouraging voter suppression -- and as you and I know -- we are not.

Again, these are the "extremes" and "rare" ADOS folks -- cause most of us are not on that. And don't listen to Faux historians.

95% ados are gonna vote huh, but 50% of self proclaimed ados say they need to see reparations or they won't vote. Turnout gonna be half of that half. Please

Many of us were asking what the end game was, because some of the the ados contingent kept making post & threads trashing the Democrats, & when we asked what we should do, a lot of them said stay home.

I have no issues with ados, we’re all descends of slaves. I just found it funny how all of a sudden some who were claiming ados were starting to use the same right wing talking points.

To be fair, some of them did say they were voting for Andrew yang or whoever they felt gave the biggest support to reparations, but most of them were outright saying stay home on voting day & were even hinting at voting for republicans

I’m not a Tariq follower either, but the whole “No Tangibles, No Vote” thing is not saying stay home and don’t vote.

It’s talking directly to politicians saying, “if your platform doesn’t include something specifically for black people, you aren’t getting my vote.”

And tbh, that rallying cry went a long way in forcing a lot of candidates to start speaking on reparations in the 1st place.

nikkas can’t be that dense to think that they were telling black people not to vote at all.
