I was light-hearted and fun in that thread. I even talked about why I don't like Yvette and Tone. And how annoying and negative the anti-Black Immigrant attacks are.

The reality is, as far as voting, ADOS is about holding politicians accountable to the needs of ADOS voters, and the purpose behind “No tangibles, no vote” was telling politicians that the days of us voting for you strictly because you’re a democrat, or because you know how to do the nay nay, or because you visited a black church once on your campaign trail are done.

If you don’t have policies in your platform speaking specifically to black/ADOS people, don’t automatically expect my vote.

We’ve been tricked too many times and those days are over.

Do you know how to play one party against another? That's what we trynna do except, unfortunately, a lot of very loud, very uninformed people (who ask for the same links every thread) keep forcing us to waste time on supposedly friendly fire.

Well that’s stupid as fukk. It doesn’t work that way. If the end goal is reparations, Republicans and the interests that own them do not have one scintilla of receptiveness toward reparations so it can’t be used as a negotiating chip. The only people in America who support or are open to the idea of reparations are on the left side of the political spectrum so that’s where the influence must be applied.

This is like an anti-abortion group that insists on making it law that no abortions should ever be allowed even in the case of rape and incest saying they’re gonna play the two parties against each other, and hope that they’ll be able convince Democrats to ban all abortions.
