Nah, had he really went all out with the impersonation he would have actually learned how to let the game come to him when he's off, instead of chucking. Youtube Jordan's games during the 2nd three-peat, he never forced it.

yo dude lost himself in trying to be better than MJ rather be himself and let the game come to him naturally. His whole M.O has been to take even more difficult shots than Jordan which made him a much less efficient player. and its a shame because kobe's mid-range game, footwork, vision is up there with the best to play this game. But his desire to out-do MJ overrides all of that.

I actual don't think kobe has mj in his mind most of the time. I agree kobe patterned his a lot of his game off of mj but a lot of his game is his own style too. Kobe is just an uber competitive person who wants to out do the standards he set for himself and sometimes that leads to him overshooting.
