This is a four year old who pushed another kid.

Notice that not once did I mention that discipline was not warranted. You can discipline children in a multitude of ways. Hell, he could of even gave him a spanking over the kids clothes with his hand.

Making your 4 year old son, who's barely out of being a toddler, strip nude in order to strike him in his flesh and genitals is some sick shyt.
:russ:
:camby:

Corporal Punishment is about discipline...the idea is to inflict a little hurting...

Those beatings when you have clothes be :shaq2::yeshrug::jawalrus:... Meaning ain't hurting the kid AT ALL...getting beat with your clothes was the luck of the draw as a kid...be like :blessed:.

BUT honestly you fukking sound :what:

Hitting his kid in the nuts was an accident...parents typically go for the legs and ass anyway. If AP would've used a belt we probably wouldn't even be talking about this. Also you realize at 4 years old he'd be going to kindergarten the next year? You can't have kids doing shyt like that in school..me and my cousins used to get beat all the time when we used to play a little rough and we didn't stop when told.

AP showed remorse and resorted to timeouts after that, but in his text said for "needed memories" aka when his kid starts getting too out of line and needs reminding....that doesn't show abuse at all.

It seems like ever since Columbine the country as a whole has been getting soft on disciplining children.

Y'all seriously think these ass whippings are effective? They don't do shyt.

To be honest it depends on the child, I know people who say whippings and beatings made them the adults who they are today, others say it ruined many (especially the old school whippings), some people say it only breeds fear and not respect some say otherwise. You get the point.

I think occasional spankings are okay but the problem occurs when it's the main form of discipline because ofcourse that kid will grow up one day so as a parent you can't just hope to rely on that fear of you as a bigger person. If all you can do is whip once the kid comes of age it'll get harder so I don't approve of them for that reason tbh. But when kids are younger they're cool :ehh:

Expect a 4yr old to know right from wrong brehs

I don't even remember life until I was 5

you could have used a spanking then.

I knew not to talk back, lie or steal when I was 4. I may not have understood WHY but I understood what was good to go and what didn't fly. Thats what the spanking is for. it teaches what's wrong on a very basic level. your body is wired to learn from pain and painful experience.

You can teach a puppy not to piss on your shyt in under a year, but a kid can't learn right and wrong in 4 years? yall send your kids to pre-school actin a fool?

From Adrian Peterson's lawyer, Rusty Hardin: "Adrian is a loving father who used his judgment as a parent to discipline his son. Adrian never intended to harm his son and deeply regrets the unintentional injury."

Brolic... Alcoholics
not even born yet. :ehh:

you want me to get outraged on your behalf now bruh? :lupe:

I don't need your outrage. I'm just annoyed at how you can really discipline kids anymore.

I was picking up my kids from school Wednesday, and I seen this kid crying while his mama was walking him to the car.

She says to him, "Well you shouldnt have been jumping on the school table dancing"

He cries harder.

She says, "You haven't gotten a whuppin yet"

I mean what else is she supposed to do? You think a stern talking to is stopping that boy from jumping on tables and dancing and shyt?

I'm convinced most of yall ain't grow up in the ghetto and never really been disciplined to that level.

But open wounds isn't??? :mindblown:
breh, i got whooped with switches, and it can leave welts, scratches, and small cuts....just like if you fell into a bush, it doesnt take much for that material to scratch you, especially 4 year old skin. that alone doesnt make it abuse IMO. how far he went (force, length of time), etc. would then turn that into abuse, but simply having the marks? nah
