To be fair detailed descriptions from a 4 year old shouldn't be taken literally.. He could have been running and fell on a pile of leaves or gotten a beating for EATING leaves..

It looks worse than it is, according to these articles the kid didn't even cry which is why AD kept popping him...He flat out said, he whooped him but only afterwards realized the switch wrapped around his legs hence the hit in the nuts...AD even said he felt bad about it but all you hear is how he's a monster for disciplining his kid...He wasn't aiming for the kids nuts nor was he trying to kill him...10-15 pops was excessive for a 4 year old but again his intent was not to injure the boy...If you ever been whooped with a switch you know It stings and leaves a mark but it's not like catching the belt, extension cord or the broom...AD knows that, he been whooped hence why he used a switch...The pics look real bad but that's a typical switch whooping...

i already know. switches sting like a mugg and hurt more because they move faster than a belt would. i still think an open hand would be better for a 4yr old

the fact that people are rationalizing cause its been happening so long and they went through it is just sad man..

the child is fukking 4! some of you seriously need to learn about child development and the affects things like this can have on a child that can lead to later behaviors and attitudes in life.

studies have shown corporal or abusive punishment can lead to mental illness and aggressive behaviors.

just cause you "turned out fine" don't mean the shyt is completely okay or whatever and didn't have some negative affect on you, especially when YOU'RE RATIONALIZING A GROWN MAN, hitting a 4 year old child with a stick until he bleeds. and those marks are a week later, after some healing.. based upon the article and what the child said, the child seem legitimately scared of his father. worried his dad would "punch him in the face". that's not normal. no child should be scared of there father beating them up, especially at 4.

and i seen some people saying thing like "well it's HIS kid!" yeah, so if i have a child and mistreat it thats cool cause its mine kid? WHAT?!
