Not surprisingly, most of y'all are entirely missing the point. Discipline is one thing (whether you agree getting physical is ok or not), but beating someone bad enough to be noticed, and for a doctor to report it, is something else altogether.

The "I should retroactively report my parents/grandparents" posts are cute, but come on already. If he got indicted, then this is something more than some typical "go pick out your switch" type of shyt. And if the reports of there being pics, and them being "nightmarish" are true, then this is some UNACCEPTABLE behavior.
thank you captain obvious, i think most of us said that, but there is warranted skepticism b/c of how much backlash is given for regular physical punishment (i.e. a few lashes with a best, being popped, etc.)

:mjlol: I knew this would turn into a "my ass whoopings were worse than your ass whoopings" thread

damn near every beating I got left bruises and marks. Didn't consider it abuse. I needed those beating when I look back on it...

I remember meeting a dud from Atlanta, white btw, who grew up on the same block as Ottis Redding in the 70s and 80s. Said he'd give him some spankings for acting out. He was like a father figure to the kids in his neighborhood. He laughed about it tho.

Otis died in 1967 in a plane crash. he was telling :duck: or your years wrong.

or it could be a vindictive baby momma

you choose what you want to believe

OR, a case of a mother not being happy when her child comes home with injuries bad enough to be noticed.

So vindictive that she sent the kid to Texas to be with him right? Ok. Your act is getting tired.

you must have been one of those kids that got put in time out.

I got my fair share of whoopings when I was younger, but I was never "abused". You're seriously gonna compare getting a spanking, or getting hit with a belt, to a child needing to be taken to a doctor because his injuries are so bad? But then again, you're a Vikings fan right? So I guess I know what your agenda is.
