Now, that's not to say that like AP isn't one of the best backs I've ever seen in my life but LT was the complete package. nikka could catch the ball, protect the QB, juke/spin/run around and over nikkas.

Feels like Tomlinson was the beginning of the don't pay rbs close to 30. The generation before him had Smith, Martin, Bettis who were alll production after they turned 30 but Ladsinlisn fell of son as he got close to 30, abruptly.

Shaun Alexander fell off before LT and he wasn't even quite 30. Bettis dikkerson Faulk Edge etc. were also pretty much done by the time they were 30 as elite backs.
