Woj is right. Wade can't have it both ways. He's basically able to deflect all blame at this point and accept all the praise, I've never seen anything like it. If he plays bad (which more times than not, he's been doing as of late), it's because he's hurt. He balls out and he's a gutsy competitor who gave it everything he got, because "that's what champions do". FOH with those weak ass narratives. Superstars bring it every night.

Bolded and quoted for emphasis.

Most players get hurt at some point during a playoff run or get sick or something, but as a superstar they're supposed to make adjustments and find other ways to contribute.

Think about it, last year one of the things getting batted around after Wade played poorly was he was dealing with family problems...:usure:

I wonder how many of y'all even read the article. Some of you just saw Woj's name on it and went nuts to call the man wrong.

Whitlock says asinine shyt most of the time, but sometimes he's right. Same thing happened to Woj today. Hurt or not, the difference between Wade yesterday was that he actually tried. He didn't do that half hearted fake flop drive shyt. He drove intending to score and made cuts etc.

It's simple, I mentioned it a week or 2 ago, one of Wade's biggest assets is holding him back. He doesn't want to press if he doesn't have it going. He clearly isn't "right", but I've been saying he needed some high volume shots game, don't care if he was 10-24, he needs to see the ball go through the rim and get to the line. Trying to stay out of Lebron's way hurts the team in the end. Can't develop a rhythm taking 14 shots

Hmmm....so when the article is big upping the greatness of the Heat, it's used as evidence to support the extreme Heats fans argument (particularly if it's an article that shyts on any player to boost the legend of Bron) but when it's an article such as the one Woj wrote, it's "You don't know what pain he's in", "you've never played the game", etc...gotcha

That right there is honestly why the shyt irks me so much.

And sorry but i'm not buying the "risking his career" bullshyt, if his injury was so bad that his career was at risk he wouldn't be on the floor. Like I also said earlier, Kobe's knee was WAY more fukked up in 2010 and he was playing much better than Wade has been playing this post season.

Again, Wade has no jumper. Of course his injury is gonna be easier to notice because he can't do anything he normally does without significant pain.

I'll try to give you an analogy and lemme apologize in advance if it's a weak one lol. Imagine walking to the bus stop with a bum knee. Every single step hurts so you pace yourself. All of a sudden you see the bus coming and you're not at the stop yet. So you grit your teeth and start to run because now the situation calls for more urgency.

Now, why weren't you sprinting from the beginning? That's D Wade and game 4 was the bus coming. Time to suck it up.

It's the finals though. It ain't the 50th game of the regular season. I'd give the man a pass if it was just regular season. There's 7 games max left in the entire season so he should've been sprinting since game one.

Both him and Bosh acted like they gave a fukk with their play and not just their mouths.

I feel you, but again, if he went ham in game 1 he might have been shut down for games 2 and beyond.

But that's not to say he wasn't playing hard. What's the difference between last night and every other game of the series? He hit outside shots. Once that jumper starts falling the path to the lane gets easier and when shots are falling all of a sudden you find an extra gear on defense. That's just the way basketball works. Once his shot started falling he didn't have to worry about that anymore. That's a mental thing.

So in games 1-3 when he couldn't hit a shot, that part was obvious but I'm sure that carried over to other parts of his game.

And I'm not even defending Wade cuz to be honest I can't stand the nikka. :heh: :yeshrug:

U brag about ur game....

Listen, ho.

I fully understand the impact of adrenaline. I also fully understand the need for pro athletes to protect and portray an image.

And while YOU - who doesn't know what the fukk you're talking about, ever - thinks the former outweighs the latter....

I know the latter is more important to a player with fading stardom, like Wade.

You called Luther Head a superstar. Luther. Head.

fukk out of my face. :demonic:

Sticks and stones can break my bones but it wont stop 65% of your team's "fanbase" from fleeing when Bron makes another "decision".

Unless yall gonna rise up and ride it out with Bosh. :mjpls:

1. you're delusional if you think Bron is leaving if we win the title again this year and/or next.

and

2. Is this even supposed to be an insult? Am I supposed to care if bandwagon fans ditch the team?
