Like everyone else says, Kasumi is killing it with the soundtrack. It’s not amazing but I do like the setting and world building. The characters do feel like a copy pasta.

The settings, art and animation are great, but the characters are seriously lacking in personality or anything interesting beyond what their role is on the team, and hell, a bunch of them don't even have that established yet 8 eps in. We got the girl in the chair and the parkour bad ass, but even they are bland as hell because there's really nothing else to them at this point. I'm still watching cause I wanna see where it goes and it's a quick watch when I don't have anything going on, but there's nothing really compelling to make this some can't miss a ep type shyt.

I will the assassin being tested at the end of the latest episode, was one of the best action scenes they have done.

When I first saw the first episodes I knew it was going to be a slow burn but this should have been 6 episodes or something like that. The actual world building is fantastic but the action was spread too thin though what there was great.

The Soundtrack tho is :wow:

I did like the closing song that played over the finale credits :ehh:

Characters were pretty thin and the whole finding Skinner and his reasoning behind it weren't great. Agreed it worked well mostly as a vibes show mixed with action.

It would have possibly done better with hour long episodes/double the amount of episodes, and a slightly different premise.

What if they were all on the run from individual problems and found each other naturally. The whole hand picked team thing, plus the military subplot keeps killing momentum.

This had a chance of really matching CB and SC, but this feels rushed and thin. I’m enjoying some parts of it, but I don’t think it’s going to be remembered as a classic like it’s predecessors were

I don’t care a whole lot about the characters, I just want to see the ending.

That change and longer episodes would probably help, but ain't no way they were doing hour episodes. Nobody knows these characters names, they just aren't memorable. They really slow walked introducing anything interesting about any of them individually. No distinct personality traits or standout abilities, besides the hacker and the fighter. They didn't need to give them full reveals early, but they were too bland for too long for us a viewers to develop any attachment to them. I guess that's something they'll work on next season since we got a slight bit of background on some of them. I still don't know what my nikka Dread Topknot does besides I guess pass on orders or monitor nikkas on a mission.

I agree they could have cut a lot of the characters out and driven up intensity by focusing on the hacker and the fighter. They definitely could have combined the hacker and rich kid into one character.
