It’s not even about “ain’t shyt” parents. It’s parents who keep the wool over your eyes. I was maaaad sheltered. To the point my college boyfriend looked at me one day after revisiting something we had discussed the prior year and said “I could tell you really believed _______. You were just so naive and I couldn’t burst your bubble”. <— it wasn’t a super serious topic, he was just saying how green I was to the world.
